Stiffness of spring

  The stiffness of spring between beads is related to the temperature of system. In NVE ensemble, whether the stiffness of spring changes with time, especially for system with large temperature fluctuations?

In general, you should consider that the temperature is not defined instantly, but just as an average property of the ensemble. The springs do not change following the instantaneous T, which is why you need to indicate a temperature in the input ensemble even when running NVR.
