Hi,

I am searching how Select looks like in iUI, I could not find any screenshot. I look at the iUI-0.4.0 beta demo as well, I could find any.

Is the Select implemented in iUI and does looks like this?

(This is in jQTouch)

Thanks.

Select element in iUI just uses its default look. 0.5 comes with some improvement on this but for now (0.4) it doesn't.
It will just look like in a native app, aka a blue text on the right of its label for iOS, a smaller text below its label for Android and same size on the right for WebOS.
(Blackberry theme on the go)

Remi,

Thanks for the info.

When are you going to release the alpha of 0.5?

We are in the process of finalizing release 0.4. It will probably be a
few more weeks before we can start again on 0.5.

To make an Alpha release of 0.5 I'm counting on help from Remi and
others in submitting nice Git pull requests with the various feature of
the experimental iUI 0.5 that can be merged into 0.4.

If you're comfortable with Git you could create a branch off of 0.4 that
has the 0.5 features you want and that would also help me to integrate
them when the time comes.

I am watching these clones here.

http://code.google.com/p/iui/source/clones

I hope to see Select UI in one of these clones one day.

Things I like about iUI are;

1. Select
2. Half size buttons
3. Modal dialogs
3. Forms (I hoping to localstorage and PHP ajax with MySQL or SQLite3).

PhoneGap has now PhoneGap-SQLiteplugin - a real SQLite3 for iOS and Android.

4. Themes

5. Overlays?

Hopefully we can see some overlays like in Web-2.0-Touch in iUI.

Thanks.
