Job Description:

The Business Intelligence Engineering (BIE) organization within client is looking for an experienced Data/Systems Analyst. This role is responsible for analyzing business requirements for implementation in BI applications. You will be expected to have a thorough understanding of systems analysis, data analysis tools/processes and a working knowledge of database/data warehouse technologies. Prior experience in budget, expense and allocation financial process would be added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Solution Manager (SD) to analyze Business Requirements from documents and end-user discussions

• Create Functional Specifications and related artifacts to be implemented in the system

• Identify/perform detailed analysis of data sources & dependent systems

• Document UI design

• Provide data mapping and associated transformation rules for source to target mappings

• Identify/define business rules associated with requirements

• Provide design guidance and recommendations based upon dependencies and impact of business requirement and ad-hoc questions.

• Assist developers & testers during development and provide additional data analysis as required during the development/stabilize phase

KEY SKILLS:

• Strong system and data analysis skills

• Experience developing functional requirements, source to target mapping documentation

• Data Warehousing and BI expertise

• Working knowledge Microsoft SQL Server

• Previous experience working within BIE and/or with Mercury or Alfred tools are preferred
