Multiple Annotations along with the current location on the map

Hey all,
I want to have multiple annotations on the map. I can locate the user's current location and can drop the pin at that location, but i want to add other annotations as well, somewhere near to the user's current location. When I add the annotations array, the application stops responding. (I am hard coding the array with the coordinates for the time being, i will letter on populate the array from the data base).
Please guide me where do I commit the mistake?
Any idea how to do this?
