Does any one successfully able to send receive MMS after 3.0 s/w update on iphone?
I have iphone 3.0 with Airtel connection and not able to send any MMS so far. Is there any solution or am i missing some thing to make this feature work?
I do see MMS feature enabled but get a message failure warning after the it attempts to send MMS.

Thanks in advance,

Prasanna.

I think, for MMS, you should have the iphone 3GS.

Prasanna did you update you update your carrier settings using iTunes ? If you did, you need to check whether they have activated your MMS on the server. I had the same problem with vodafone but once my vodafone live got active I could send it without a problem.

first generation iphones won't get MMS, even if you have updated the

Thanks for the reply.
I wasn't activated my MMS service from my Service provider (Airtel).. how stupid I was :-)
Any ways for all those who dont know about this....

How to activate your MMS in Airtel:
Send PMMS ACTV to 222
Wait for confirmation of activation of MMS Service (with in 24 Hrs)

Then send another SMS: Typing just(w/o quotes) "ALL" to 543210.

I am in process of doing this.
Hope this works and helps other dummy's like me :-)

Thanks,
Prasanna.

Ya, you may be correct and thanks for the details. I initiated this thread talking about 3G iphone only.
