Try eBay. You may find some new unlocked phones there........

Thanks,

Would personally suggest you to buy officially from either Vodafone or
Airtel. As they just replace your phone for any fault. Else if you
have unofficial it is bit pricy to repair and in cases you might have
throw it.

Even there was a news Airtel planning to sell unlock phone for small
fee. Would suggest wait. Till 9th August when new iPhone will land in
india. This might reduce 3G price too.

The phone typically is very sturdy with very rare cases of a hardware problem. I guess we all can handle a software problem by now!! :)

So if the price in grey market for a new unlocked phone is somewhere half of what Airtel or Vodafone are selling in India, its a risk worth taking! Actually, not even a risk... You can buy a new one at still incur the same cost if the first one gives you a problem in a very rare scenario......

The price of a 3G 8/16 GB is 31,000 and 36,000 Official. The problem
is that they all insist that you change your present number. They also
will tell you what schemes you can choose from.
So to recap change number and select from limited schemes.

The Grey market is exactly rs 1500 cheaper, 29,500 and 34,500 pre
cracked. If in mumbai its available freely like in IRLA at a store
calle Alpha....

I would definitely wait for 9th August to check out new 3GS official
and unofficial prices. ( grey market:- store keepers say will come
from HongKong??). Logically 3G prices if model available will change.
Hope this is helpfull............

Should be same as the 3G variant. Technically, prices of 3G should fall and 3GS would take its place in pricing....
