Well I am not sure what u mean!! I am unable to connect and as per vodafone I can only subscribe to a scheme which is 299 rs or more and that is a packet data scheme.

    I'm on 3.1.3 On 3gs and I can assure you that u can use the net.
     
    Depending upon ur carrier, ur apn changes. If it's Airtel or vodafone
    u don't have to change anything

Hi GV,

Yeah, Vodafone has very limited (one) options for iPhone browsing.
Usually you have to get a plan activated ( Vodafone Mobile Connect or something)  and only then,
the net on the iphone will work.

I'm on airtel and using the 98 bucks -2gb plan flawlessly.. been using the phones connection on my lappy for the last 2 weeks and its awesome. ( You can survive with mails and facebook and all but dont expect video streaming and stuff)

the vodafone apn is www ( as far as i remember ) but on the iphone, you can change the apn only if its an unsupported carrier. (vodafone is supported). Try apn changing utilities from cydia if u are really feeling lucky :). Google apn iphone edit cydia for some info.
