Hi all,
I have a problem when importing the .csv file from internet. All the
procedure seems to be working, the problem that I encounter is that,
even if I list the word on two different columns on the .csv sheet,
they both appear on the front of the card.
I'm working on a Mac, and I save the spreadsheet in .csv with
Microsoft excel for Mac.

Any tips?

Thanks, Metello.

Do they both appear on the front on the website? Can you send me over
your csv files (to sup...@red5dev.com) and I can take a look at it.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Phillip,

Can you send me your csv file (sup...@red5dev.com)  it looks like the issue with the other user was that the csv file was not saved as a comma separated values file, but instead is separated using semi-colons.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi all,
for those who have a mac and have been having problems with importing
.csv files. I found out through google, that microsoft excel for Mac
saves the .csv file in accordance with the international setting which
been chose by the user. Therefore, since I had an Italian setting, the
files was saved as delimited by a semicolon instead than by a comma
(don't ask me why though...). I had tried to manually sub all the
semicolons with commas with a textedit, but that hadn't worked either. I
solved the issue by switching from the Italian setting to the American
setting in system preferences. Since then, I can import my cards.

However, now I have a new question. I have an Ipod touch, and I would
like to add audio to my cards. I tried yesterday, after plugging a mic
in my Ipod. Unfortunately, no any sound was recorded. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Metello

Hi Metello,

Good find on the semi-colon excel thing. I couldn't reproduce or
figure it out. Thanks!

For the iPod touch do you have a first generation or second generation
iPod touch? The first generation. Sadly doesn't support a plugged in
headset but the second generation should.

Thanks,

Jason

I have a second generation, which in fact I also use to skype with my
headset with mic.

Thanks, Metello
