Apple decided to keep their Wi-Fi frameworks private. That gives them an
excuse to
stop supporting it/make changes that would break applications. Just look at
WiFinder
— it was a great application on 2.0, but the 3.0 update moved some
frameworks around
and broke WiFinder. Although the writer of the app has had an update for
several
months now, the update is still sitting on his computer waiting to get
approved by
Apple.
