sms confirmation

hi

one of the major drawbacks of the original apple sms application is
that it does not support confirmation messages which indicate wether
the receiver has received the message or not.
are these messages supported by isms?

No one can achieve this until apple update their modem driver or the
CoreTelephony Framework.
All apps are built above these driver/frameworks

Afaik confirmations can be enabled by a prefix like *N# in the message
in the normal sms app. It would be a nice workaround if this app adds
this text before every written message.

I don't know much about c oder c++, but maybe you could tell us / me
where and how to modify the code to add an "*N#" in front of every
message.
Imho it can't be more than a: smsText := $writtenText TO smsText :=
''N#' + $writtenText
So i could build a custimized Version for my iphone / carrier
