Gentlefolk,

I've had multiple requests to host another iPhoneDevCamp. Because the
iPhone NDA has been lifted, these mini iPhoneDevCamps should be much
more useful to beginning and experienced iPhone developers alike. Once
again, the fine folks at Conjunctured have offered us the use of their
facility. Furthermore, we now have a formal relationship with the
BarCamp-Austin folks and will be hosting the iPhone track at the SxSW
BarCamp.

To build a vibrant development community, I want to encourage all of
us to invite along a development oriented friend.

Saturday, November 15th, 1 PM - 5 PM at Conjunctured.
Nuevo Leon post-DevCamp Dinner November 15th at 5:30 PM. We'll walk
over from Conjunctured.

Saturday, January 17th, 1 PM - 5 PM at Conjunctured.

SxSW BarCamp is tied to the unannounced BarCamp schedule and venue.

As with all DevCamps, we need speakers. This is an unconference.
Hence, folks are looking for interesting informal discussions and
problems. I will be discussing my long promised weight management
program, iLost, in November. (Now if I can only lose the weight ...)

Thanks,
Andrew

P.S. The Smartphone Entrepreneurs meeting last night went very well. I
was impressed by the number of developers who showed up. Stephen is
interested in hosting more meetups. Next time we'll try to get
situated where it is easier to talk.

Sounds great! Perhaps we can have a session where people can show off iPhone apps they developed, and perhaps sign up beta testers for ad hoc distro if the app is not already in the App Store?

We can all blog about those local apps, make press release etc to give them more exposure. What do you guys think?

cheers
Michael
