6^th Jerusalem International Conference on Health Policy

 

Save the Date! - 23 - 25 May 2016 

Jerusalem, Israel

Overview / Información general:

The conference theme - "Health policy: from local experience to global patterns and back again" – provides a platform for exchanging ideas and for learning about and exploring the dynamic

evolution of health policy worldwide, acknowledging its complex, uncertain and interactive nature. The conference will focus on four broad sub-themes:

 

1.      The complexity of health policy - co-chaired by David Chinitz (Israel) and Reinhardt Busse (Germany)

2.      The building blocks of healthcare systems – co-chaired by Yoseph Mekori (Israel) and Dina Balabanova (UK)

3.      Universal health coverage – co-chaired by Gaby Bin-Nun (Israel) and Wynand van de Ven (The Netherlands)

4.      The determinants of health – co-chaired by Orna Baron-Epel (Israel) and Lisa Berkman (US)

 

Leading experts will be addressing the conference in plenary and parallel sessions. The parallel sessions will include presentations, workshops, panels and round tables, designed to provide fertile grounds for the emergence of new insights, ideas and understandings.
