4.0.0 release timeline

Hi all,

I noticed 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT was tagged in github. What's the release timeline here? We'd like to move off of java 8 soonish.

You can use the 4.0-20200713 version just like a release, although it's not the final 4.0.

 We are eager for feedback 🙂.

We were able to upgrade fairly painlessly. Required a bump to camel 3, groovy 3 and the addition of a few more groovy and camel deps due to some changing packaging, but nothing serious. We're on 11 and we'll look to move to 14 and then rolling release

Anything to watch out for?
