Hi,

I'd like to propose an IPF 5.2 release towards the end of the month. A couple of issues have been fixed, and some updates of major libraries are due within the next week or so: Camel 4.18, CXF 4.1.5 and HAPI FHIR 8.8.0. Also it would fit nicely for some folks attending the Connectathon starting on March 23rd.

Let me know if there is something urgent to be done otherwise... e.g. I spotted #497 and #498.
Other major updates (Spring Boot 4, Spring 7, Jakarta EE 11) should be deferred to a later (6.0?) IPF release.

best regards
Christian

Hi

I will go through the last IHE CP Ballots, probably there is something relevant there.

Best regards
Dmytro

Hi,

while preparing the ipf‑5.2‑rc2 release, I discovered that camel‑4.18.0 includes a SNAPSHOT dependency on camel-test-4.18.0‑SNAPSHOT in its camel-bom.pom. Maven Central’s publishing validation checks and blocks artifacts that depend on SNAPSHOT versions, which is causing our artifacts deployment to fail.

Therefore if no objections, I propose rolling back to the stable camel‑4.17.0

Best regards,
Boris

Ugh. Can you bring this up in their mailing list?
I'd really prefer to have 4.18.0 in the final 5.2 release because it's an LTS version.
Until then - sure, use 4.17.0.

regards
Christian
