Please be advised that our client, an Oil & Gas company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE is planning to conduct a Recruitment Campaign in the UAE tentatively on the first week of June 2014. ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN (MAINTENANCE)
Rotation : 90/30

Basic Scope of Duties :
 Diagnoses and rectifies faults on electrical equipment and associated control gear, heavy and light HT and LT switchgear and ancillary equipment.
 Carries out isolation of certain electrical circuits, issues danger notices as authorized and carries out routine and planned maintenance on a wide variety of electrical equipment.

Minimum requirements:
 Completion of technical secondary education (12 years)/apprenticeship certificate or equivalent.
 5 years minimum experience in oil and gas industry.
 Fair knowledge of spoken and written English.
MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (MAINTENANCE)
Rotation : 90/30

Basic Scope of Duties :
 Carryout skilled maintenance works independently in the repair, assembly, alignment of mechanical equipment like exchangers, vessels, columns, boilers, structures and able to fabricate pipe work from isometric drawings.
 To be able to identify piping specs, gaskets, bolt nuts, valves etc and able to carry-out the work on all the piping.
 Operates simple M/C tools such as grinding machines, drilling machines, impact wrenches etc.
 Able to take precision measurement using depth gauges, micrometer, vanier calipers etc. and must be able to work to very close tolerances.
 Prepares sketches/brief reports such as alignment, finished dimensions etc.

Minimum requirements:
 Completion of Technical Secondary education (12 years) / Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent.
 The candidate should have minimum experience of 5 years in oil & gas industry.
 Fair knowledge of spoken and written English.

MACHINERY TECHNICIAN (MAINTENANCE)
Rotation : 90/30

Basic Scope of Duties :
 To perform and participate in the trouble shooting maintenance activities of the plant rotating equipment including pumps, centrifugal/Reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, Gas Turbines, fans, blowers, and high speed centrifugal air compressors packages.
 Creation of route, upload route / download route & vibration data in the system, vibration data collection, vibration analysis.
 Participate in condition monitoring checks on machinery, notify any abnormality or malfunction to the immediate supervisor.
 Participate in the major machines overhaul and repair, identify spare from manufacturer drawing and spare parts list.
 Lube oil samples collection, lube oil condition monitoring


Minimum requirements:
 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical or any large process industry.
 Experience in condition monitoring of Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Pumps, Compressors and Gear boxes etc.
 Familiarity with CMMS & SAP system, CSI Equipment health monitoring software, CSI 2120 & 2130, BN System-1 and ADRE.
 Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and capable of writing reports.
 Capable to work on offshore remote area as per contractual rotational cycle.


INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (MAINTENANCE)
Rotation : 90/30

Basic Scope of Duties :
 Use a variety of Pneumatic, electrical, and hand tools for the specific jobs.
 Able to identify and use a variety of test and measurement equipments including digital and analogue voltmeters, pneumatic and smart calibrators.
 Performs a variety of skilled work related to installation, calibration of control valves, pressure, level, and temperature controllers, including running and tracing complex loop wiring.
 Able to read /understand the P&ID’s, loop sheets, cause & effects and schematic diagrams.
 Carry out the duties of an instrument fitter, able to select the fitting materials suitable for Cryogenic, steam and corrosive services.
 Assist in complex trip test and function testing of control loops, must have knowledge of trip sequences and process fault finding.

Minimum requirements:
 Completion of technical secondary education (12 years) / apprenticeship certificate or equivalent.
 5 years minimum experience in oil and gas industry
 Fair knowledge of spoken and written English.

ANALYZER TECHNICIAN (MAINTENANCE)
Rotation : 90/30

Basic Scope of Duties :
 Carries out fault finding maintenance and modification on ph conductivity, moisture, total sulphur, H2S, CO2, SO2, Oxygen analysers and gas chromatographs.
 Liaises with Operations, Maintenance and Technical Department personnel to resolve process and instrument related problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of the process and its control systems.
 Directs and participates in the inspection & testing of completed work ensuring quality & conformity to prescribed standards.

Minimum requirements:
 Age 30 –40 years
 Completion of Technical Certificate, plus one year full time formal training in Analyser Instrumentation.
 6 years experience in the operation and Maintenance of Analyser and Gas chromatograph equipment.
 Good knowledge of spoken and written English, with capability of writing technical reports.

UPS/NBS/CP TECHNICIAN
Rotation : 90/30

Basic Scope of Duties :
 Responsible for repair and testing of UPS/NBS/CP and related equipment.
 Receives work assignments from UPS Supervisor / Specialist and carried out his duties in accordance with specifications and Company standards and regulations.
 Diagnoses and rectifies faults on UPS, NBS, CP equipment and associated control circuits. § Carries out electrical installation work as assigned and arrange with his Supervisor the materials and spare parts required to perform assigned work.
 Performs reading and interpreting circuit diagrams, using various electric meters such as ammeters and voltmeters, repairing and maintaining faulty domestic appliances, etc.

Minimum requirements:
 Completion of Technical Secondary Education (12 years) or equivalent.
 Five years’ experience in electrical repair and maintenance work preferably in an Oil refining or petrochemical industry.
 Good problem solving skill.
 Ability to communicate in English and Arabic.


AREA OPERATOR (OPERATIONS)
Rotation : 28/14

Basic Scope of Duties :
 Checks, operates, monitors and observes all activities/situations on plant equipment within the defined area of duty.
 Logs and records all plant running parameters and reports back giving detailed information of any abnormalities and defects.
 Carries out operational preparation of equipment prior to release for maintenance and ensures proper implementation of Permit to Work instructions.
 In Storage & Export area:
• Assists pilot to ensure safe berthing of all export vessels.
• Operates hydraulically powered loading arms and gangway.
• Liaises with Cargo Engineer during loading.

Minimum requirements:
 Completion of Technical Secondary Education (12 years) or ATI graduate or equivalent technical diploma.
 5 years of operational experience in oil & gas industry.
 Fair knowledge of written and spoken English.
 Ability to communicate clearly and concisely by radio and other communication means.
