Dear IPC-2008 group,
we have added derived predicates to the list of "optional features"
for the temporal planning and net benefit tracks. Their omission from
the original feature list was an oversight. Sorry for any confusion
that may have been caused!
An "optional feature" is a feature that may be present in some of the
benchmark domains, but which need not necessarily be supported
directly by a planner because we will provide alternative equivalent
problem formulations without that feature. Note that these equivalent
formulations may be significantly larger and more complicated, so it
may be advantageous to support the feature directly.
