Dear IPC-2008 group,

some news on the IPC website:

1. The extension of the paper deadline (to May 15th) that Minh
announced here recently has been made "official" by mentioning it on
the website.

2. I've deleted 164 wiki user accounts that appeared to be used by
spammers. I'm quite hopeful I didn't delete any legitimate accounts,
but if your wiki account seems to have disappeared, please tell me.

3. We've upgraded to a new version of the wiki software. The new
version will hopefully offer some better protection against spammers
by guarding certain actions (in particular, creating a user account or
editing a page while not logged in) with a question that automated
bots supposedly won't be able to answer. We shall see how well this
works. Please write to me if you run into any problems with the new
wiki software.
