Dear friends,

ICAN is coordinating an open letter to Prime Minister Turnbull from Australian civil society including international, environmental, health, student, faith, peace and union organisations.

The letter, attached, will be sent to the Prime Minister on Friday, and will increase pressure on Australia to sign the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. The Treaty opened for signature on 20th September, has already been signed by 53 countries and is the primary reason that ICAN was awarded the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.
