I'm looking for women!

I have arbitrarily designated August and the five Fridays in that month as women in tech month. I would enjoy have more female guests and if you or anyone you know fits that simple description, please contact me or get the person to email me. 

I'd love to hear about what they do, why they do it, how they got started. Don't get me wrong, I'm just as interested in the same questions to males. But AUgues is special, so let's make it happen. 

We have the last two weeks in August spoken for, the first three are available. And they'r coming up quickly, so act now. Operators are standing by.

The two who I know are very unlikely to be willing to be the center of attention, but I will try.  One doesn't even post on lists like this.  "That's way too much like socializing."

But I do like and support your idea.

She's in for Aug 2nd.  I think it will be interesting.  I try not to talk too much shop when I see her socially, so this is a good opportunity to hear more about the work side of things.

It's completely unclear to me how to use the Google page to get an invite.  Which is why I just never use G+ all around.  I always feel like it's my first week on the interwebs when I try to figure out G+.

I will send the URL by email. Invites are flaky, but the invite only appears when the Hangout begins.

It's just a question of habit, millions of 15 years olds with zero tech knowledge use this stuff daily!

I usually send an email and send the invite to the people on G+ as well. Also IRC via PM.

So we'll see an invite on the e-mail list but only after you have started the hangout?  No chance to pre-connect?  I was also hoping to invite a few other people, as my company has been bought out and there are some new people who might be good contacts to join us.

And you're claiming there are millions of people actually using G+???  Heh.

We don't invite the entire list to participate, only Michelle, Carlos and someone else who wants to be a part of it. Those invites will go out via private email, just you and the NSA.

The live one will also be visible on the voipusers page at http://vuc.me/g and at the main site http://vuc.me so it's hard to miss.
