Hi,

I recently started looking into Ruby, Ruby on Rails to be exact, and I was wondering if anyone had some input on good places to look at for learning the intricacies of the framework? I'm looking at building a basic e-commerce site with RoR, most likely going to build the whole thing as a RoR application but use Rails Engine's to handle inventory, checkout's and sales. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Cory,

This book might be a good place to start. It's got a well-thought-out order and good use of TDD.

There are some very slick tutorials available for a monthly fee at codeschool.

This book can be purchased or viewed online for free.

If you wish to actually understand Ruby, then I can't recommend this one enough.
