Hello, I was not able to make the meeting due to work but I was
wondering if anyone would interested in helping me build a robot. I
got this robot kit from ebay a few years back thinking the sellers
would provide a basic build guide book and help. But they didn't so
now I have a box of parts to build a robot that I can't build since I
don't have enough experience. The kit is a Hero base with upgraded
parts, please let me know if you are interested.

Have a look at the hero owners group at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/hero_owners/
Robert Doerr is the group moderator and copyright holder of what used
to be the Hero series of bots from Heathkit.
If you can figure out which bot you have get a hold of Robert and
order new manuals from him.
Have a look at his page http://www.robotswanted.com/
Can you post some pictures? Do you have any outside body panels?

It is not a Hero kit but a bunch of parts like computer motherboard,
floppy drive, IR sensor box, penumatics and misc to put on a Hero
wheel base. I have part list file somewhere I just have not found it
on my pc. It was from the ebay store Humana Robots and they also was
selling a picabot.
