Caregiver's CHOICE?

I have recently become aware the Caregiver's Choice a program for
Mentoring Children of Prisoners. I would like to talk with some folks
in Iowa that are participating in this program to discuss advantages
and disadvanges. Please respond if you have any experience with this
program operated by MENTOR.

Hello Kathy, I don't know about it as much as I should, but I know they have been offering webinars. I missed the last one but they forwarded me the materials - I am attaching them for you to take a look. My very limited understanding is that they are trying to get as many mentoring organizations involved as possible, so that when a prisoner talks to his/her family about getting a mentor for their child they have a list of mentoring agencies to refer them to. I am sure others will have a better explanation, but I thought I would share the materials they sent. If you have more questions you could contact:

Have you talked to Marty about it? Isn't that what his program is
entirely? I am not positive, but I was pretty sure that he works with
program. Just wondered if you had asked him about it. Otherwise I
don't have much information about it.
