I'm sending this message out to everyone on the google group to show one of the possible ways this tool can be used to communicate with one another. Before and After School Grant Program
Senate File 588, along with other legislation from this past session, appropriated $900,000 for a Before/After School competitive grant program. Eligible applicants are school districts, as well as other public and private organizations. The purpose of the program is to expand the availability of before and afterschool programs, including but not limited to summer programs. The application materials for the grant program is now posted on the Iowa Department of Education's (DE) website. Applications are due at to the DE by July 20. Awards will be announced no later than August 10.
