Hello,

I apologize if you subscribe to multiple user group mailing lists and get this message more than once.

I wanted to share some exciting news about upcoming events at the IMT Group in West Des Moines and Foundry Coworking in Des Moines. Both the Iowa Python and Iowa Ruby user groups will be having some really great guest speakers in February and March.

February 2nd at 6pm:  At the IMT Group the Iowa Python user group will have two guest speakers, Doug Hellmann author of The Python Standard Library By Example, as well as the Python Module of the Week blog, and the former editor and chief of Python Magazine will be joining us via Skype, also Steve Holden the author of Python Web Programming and the current chairman of the Python Software Foundation will be joining us via Skype as well.

February 21st at 6pm: At Foundry Coworking the Iowa Ruby Brigade will have Darrin Holst, creator of (my personal favorite) WebOS app Reboxed, discussing CoffeeScript. Check out the Iowa Ruby Brigade's website for more details.

March 20th at 6pm: At the IMT Group the Iowa Ruby Brigade will have a guest speaker, Wesley Beary (a.k.a geemus) creator of fog and current maintainer of the heroku client gem will be joining us in person.

I hope you are able to join us for these upcoming user group meetings and dinner/drinks afterwards. If you have any questions, comments, cares or concerns feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Matthew J. Morrison
