CoderDojo in Des Moines Region

Hi All,

I am a software developer in West Des Moines and I am starting a CoderDojo in Des Moines Region.

CoderDojo is a movement orientated around running free not-for-profit coding clubs and regular sessions for young people.
DMACC west has agreed to give us the space for hosting the programming classes. Local non-profits working with young kids will help us getting the kids. Startup city and Levi from Goodsmiths has agreed to help us create the course syllabus and other mentoring.

We are looking for people who can mentor and teach kids programming. The sessions will take place on alternate Saturdays and will last for 2-3 hours. All the CoderDojo DSM activity and planning will be done at the Google Group http://groups.google.com/group/coderdojo-dsm. The Twitter handle is @CoderDojoDSM.

Please help us spread the word and request interested people to join the Google group.
