All,

Ask: Can anyone confirm access into Granger between NW 107th St and NW 121st St in Granger is open? It only lists that the right shoulder is closed due to road construction work on Iowa 511.

We have the 300k event coming up this Saturday:
https://iowarandos.org/event/three-rivers-300k-2026/

Currently we have queued up Daniel Wood's trail reroute:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50244138

My current plan is to be in Ames 4/23,24 to be sure the route is open. I built a tool (below, I call it RouteGuardian) that allows a user to upload their GPX files and then it interfaces with Iowa 511 to locate closures/construction (eventually TrailForks as well for Trail closures).  We need to make sure that route coming into Granger is open. Anyone who lives over there that can comment on that is welcome to do so. If it turns out we need a reroute, I'll change it on the website and notify registered riders.

i was thinking about reverting back to the original Three Rivers 300k but the Racoon River Valley Trail site says:
However, there is still no access into Adel from the east as the Lighted Bridge remains closed. Repairs are currently underway following last year’s fire, and the bridge is expected to reopen in August 2026.
So we will continue with the Adel reroute.

I could drive over on Thursday and check it out, as I live by Altoona if that helps.
