oh, i forgot to mention that 2026 is of course an important year. From Rob Hawks:

"Note that 2026 is an important year regarding PBP 2027, as it allows PBP aspirants to ride their longest ACP event and seed them for when they can pre-register and claim a spot in PBP2027."

PBP2027 is coming fast. Would be great to send another batch of Iowa PBPers again in 2027.
