ESSAM and the Des Moines Catholic Worker bird-dog democratic presidential candidates at major Iowa campaign events.
THANK YOU!
To all of those who have help support the work I have embarked on over the years to help raise awareness on drones and autonomous weapons, and how they threaten our very existence, I can't thank you enough.
Your support helped bring me to Iowa where I joined forces with Know Drones and the Des Moines Catholic Worker to visit four democratic campaign events in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. At each of these events I had the opportunity to confront our democratic presidential candidates on the issues of extrajudicial assassination by drone, the AUMF and autonomous weapons.
Of the eight candidates I was able to confront, how many ventured to answer the questions?
It was a whirlwind weekend but as you can see we managed to plant a seed in the minds of these candidate and with your continued support I hope to further elevate these issues to the highest ranks of political and military discourse.
I sat with Rodger Routh while in Des Moines to discuss my motivations as an artist and the impetus behind this work.
Thank you for your support! Stay tuned for more to come,
