  Jessica Reznicek called me yesterday. She is out of the 'Shoe', a disciplinary lock down for over a month. She was cleared of any involvement in a fight in her unit. She sounded in good spirits. She got her old job back in the kitchen doing the recycling of the prison's garbage, a job she loves. 

   Despite being in the hole, Jess managed to get me a note to send $600 to an inmate's family in need - see attached. Jess is able to give $$$ to her inmate friends and families because you all have been generous in sending her money to do her 'in-prison-charity' work.

   If you want to donate to Jess's Prison Fund, write checks out The Des Moines Catholic Worker. Be sure to write Jess's Prison Fund in the note on the check.
