DMCW'ers Ed Bloomer and Frank Cordaro arrested Dec 28 at DM's Air National Guard Donne Command Center

       The Des Moines Catholic Worker &  the Des Moines Veterans For Peace hosted our 3rd  annual Feast of the Holy Innocent Witness and Direct Action at the DM Drone Command Center Saturday Dec 28th. Eight good souls held to two specially made Feast of Holy Innocents banners, with one soul DMCWer Patrick Stall taking the attached photos with a cell phone.  

       Our message simple. The banners proclaim it!  "Herod Killed the Infants. Matt. 2:16 Today …  Des Moines Armed Drone Command  Kills Them Too! Celebrate Christmas … Shut Down DM's Drone Command!"

      Ed Bloomer and Frank Cordaro proceeded to the main gate and were arrested, hand chuffed and put into a Police car charged with trespass. They were taken to tjhe Polk Co Jail for the night. They appeared before a jail judge this morning, plead guilty, fined and release mid afternoon - just on a 24 hr time of confinement.

Our next effort at the DM Drone Command will be May 16 Arms Forces Day.
