Reminder: Call for Communities of Practice is Open!

Good morning, Iowa OER friends!

This is a quick reminder that the call for applications for our 2026 OER Communities of Practice is currently open! We are accepting applications from any faculty or staff who want to learn more about OER. 

This free professional development program meets monthly October through May. Two tracks are available, to support people who are new to OER or more experienced:

• Adopting & Exploring (recommended for those new to OER)
• Creating & Open Pedagogy (recommended for those with some knowledge about OER)

Review the application form. The call for applications closes September 23rd. Please share with faculty members, instructional designers, and others in your community who want to engage and learn more about open education.
