Happy spring, Iowa OER friends!
We are well into the semester now and the weather is as unpredictable as usual this February. We hope that you are doing well and that your OER efforts are being rewarded.
Next month, we will be posting our annual survey call, to learn more about how your institutions are supporting your open education work. To prepare for that call, today we would like to remind you about one of the resources on the Iowa OER website:
The OER in Use Across Iowa List!
What is this list?
This list contains information about open educational resources that have adopted across the state, including the institution using the material and the course in which the OER is used.
How do I add my classes?
To contribute to the list, you can add your institution or course data to our open
adopted OER spreadsheet, available in Google Sheets. You can add your courses to the top of the main tab containing all courses, or to the tab for this semester, depending on your preference. If you only add your course to this semester, we'll add the information into the master spreadsheet later.
Additional information about the OER in Use Across Iowa list is available on the attached handout.
As always, if you have questions, recommendations, or support requests for the Iowa OER team, feel free to reply to this email or reach out via
our contact form.
Sincerely,
Iowa Open Education Action Team
