The IPAL Steering Committee invites you to attend the following webinar on the topic of Open Education and Private Education. 

Kayla Reed, the Discovery, Systems, and Digital Strategy Librarian at Grinnell College, was the 2024 recipient of the Richard Fyffe Scholarship Award through Iowa Private Academic Libraries (IPAL). She is now sharing her research in a December webinar.  

Kayla shares the following details about the presentation:

"Open education has been reshaping education since the early 2000s, finding a strong foothold in community colleges.  But what about private education? Through two surveys and several interviews with library workers and teaching faculty, Kayla Reed from Grinnell College examines where private education currently stands and notes the barriers to broader adoption."
