Updates for the Fall Semester

Good afternoon, Iowa OER friends and partners!

This is a quick update and a reminder about some of the resources you can access on the Iowa OER website. 

Looking for OER?

As you begin exploring what OER are being used at your institution this fall, consider adding your institutions' adopted OER to the OER Adopted in Iowa Colleges spreadsheet, available in Google Sheets! In this spreadsheet, you can share what is in use at your college and check out what OER other colleges in Iowa are using in their courses. 

OER added to this spreadsheet are also added to the Iowa Colleges and Universities OER Commons Group, which is a bit easier to browse and search than the spreadsheet. 

You can join this group to add content to our lists, or simply check in regularly to see if new content has been added to the folder for your discipline!

Need help with your OER programming?

The Iowa OER group has recently revamped and updated our Iowa OER Toolkit, a set of resources in Google Drive organized by topic. Explore the various topics and folder descriptions on the Iowa OER Toolkit directory on our website, or click through to the Iowa OER Toolkit in Google Drive directly to sift through the materials (brochures, slides, learning materials, and links to external resources) that have been compiled and curated for you!
