Good morning, Iowa OER friends!

In the responses to our annual survey, many of you shared an interest in accessing more professional development opportunities for faculty and staff around the topic of open education. Today, we're sharing a few resources of interest!

1. OEN Engage! The Open Education Network,* for which we have coordinated a consortial membership for Iowa colleges and universities, is currently accepting registrations for their annual community event, OEN Engage! Attend to access informative, inspiring sessions on open pedagogy, open publishing, OER adoption, and community engagement. Registration closes tomorrow, Friday July 11.
2. Open Education 101 Webinars: This August and September, a series of webinars will be held to support the professional development of the broader open education community. Topics will include: Open Ed Foundations, Open Education in Practice, Current Opportunities and Challenges, and more!
3. More from Iowa OER! Stay tuned to learn about the blogs, webinars, and resources coming from our team later this summer and fall.
