Good afternoon, Iowa OER friends!
The
Iowa Open Education Action Team is excited to share our annual end of
year update with you all, highlighting some of the major initiatives
we've supported this year on a single page! You can see the full
overview on our 2025 one-page handout or review the summary below:
Recent Projects
- Access to Manifold for Open Textbook Publishing: As we announced just last week, Iowa colleges and universities can access the publishing platform, Manifold, for free through our consortial membership to the Open Education Network.
- The Iowa OER Awards: One of our biggest programs this year was the launch of the Iowa OER Awards, a new opportunity to uplift and highlight the work of educators across the state!
- Communities of Practice: This year, we're running our fourth annual OER Community of Practice, supporting cohorts in Education, Psychology, and Environmental Science/Agriculture!
