Good morning!

I am sharing a call for proposals for a symposium to be held in Ames in March, on digital scholarship. Instructors, librarians, and scholars of all types are welcome! Please feel free to share this with others who might be interested:

The third annual Digital Scholarship Symposium will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Iowa State University Library. This symposium brings together a broad range of digital scholarship practitioners including faculty, students, librarians, and community members to explore how digital methods and tools are transforming research, teaching, art, and public engagement. We welcome proposals from across Iowa’s higher education institutions and the broader creative and scholarly community.

We invite proposals for:

  • Panel Sessions on public digital arts/humanities or digital pedagogy
  • Lightning talks showcasing student digital scholarship projects

Proposal Deadline: February 2, 2026 11:59 p.m. CST

Submit via the Symposium Proposal Form. See the full CFP for more detail and proposal requirements. Questions? Contact Michael Cummings at mr...@iastate.edu.

Please feel free to share this invitation widely with colleagues and students who may be interested.

We hope to see you in March!
