Hello Iowa colleagues,

In case you missed it on the Open Education Network (OEN) list-serv, see below for information about OEN's upcoming free Pub101 opportunity to learn more about how to publish Open Educational Resources (OER). As a reminder, all Iowa academic institutions are consortial OEN members, so librarians and OER leaders at your institutions are welcome to participate at no additional cost. I participated in Pub101 myself several years ago & found it valuable and really well-structured.

Specific questions should be directed to the listed contacts, though I'm happy to answer questions from a participant perspective. I'm also on the OEN Steering Committee. Note this offering isn't intended for OER authors, but that opportunity is coming in the future.

If a synchronous opportunity doesn't work for you, there is also an asynchronous, free, always-available way to take the course through the Pub101 Canvas course: https://canvas.umn.edu/courses/377173

Best,
AM
