Good morning, Iowa OER friends!

I hope you had a relaxing holiday weekend. I am passing along some information for those of you whose institutions are participating in our consortial Open Education Network (OEN) membership.

The OEN is hosting a community training and networking event July 10-13, an evolution of their OEN Summit model. This event will be most useful for support staff and leaders for local OER initiatives who would benefit from additional training and information about how to leverage the support available through their OEN membership.

"Registration for this event, the inaugural OEN Engage!, is now open!

Whether you’re new to the OEN or have been with us since the beginning, OEN Engage! is your space for connecting with fellow members and discovering the OEN programs, tools, and opportunities that are best suited to your open education experience and initiatives.

The Lowdown

• All OEN members are invited to register by June 30. We encourage consortia and state systems to share this invite with your member institutions.

• To facilitate equitable access, the event will be virtual. General sessions will be recorded and shared here in the Google Group for those who are unable to attend live.

• In line with the tagline Less Conference…More Connection, the goal of each session is for you to leave feeling connected, oriented, supported and energized.
