Uploading Spreadsheet to Google Drive

Hi, I was uploading some class lists from Microsoft Excel to my Google Drive and I have one class that is correct when I view the file from my computer, but when it uploads to Google Drive, it ends up being a different class list.  I've tried uploading it from another location and renaming the file, but each time I try to upload it, it shows up as the same different class.  Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
