I was delighted to see that touchatag reader support was going to continue through IOTOPE despite touchatag shutting down their services.

My Project i had developed on their server involved the ability to print the tag hash code (see below), as well as being able to complete different events based if a tag was being removed/placed/removed from the reader. 

Would these features be easy enough to add?

***the touchatag service would print out the current tag has of the tag interacting with the reader, and would pass it as an argument to my autohotkey script and would also tell my script if it was being placed/removed or left on the reader.

eg: the output looked something this....   TAG: sfe09sf0e9sfe09sejf09sjefs PUT

this allowed my autohotkey script to use that information it the way it needed to.

Yes, I'll add the new "removed" and "placed" events to the feature requests. 

Although I propose that this event should be optional (need activation in the configuration file), because to make a different between "placed" and "touch" we need to read the tag more than once. This will be in a slower "touch" event. But if the new event types are disable, the "touch" event can still be fast.
