Hi all,
Happy new year everyone! It has certainly started off looking to be a
busy one -- I've only just had a chance to catch up on egg things..
Quite a bit of progress has been in the wider world with mainstream
eggs now shipping to Kickstarter backers.
Here are some more detailed updates..
1. Our final egg enclosures and fans will be shipping from the US
tomorrow! I'm hoping we won't end up with shipping debacles like last
time, expecting them to arrive early next week.
2. The
airqualityegg.com website is finally working as expected! Here
is my egg showing some ballpark-ish correct (well trending in the
right direction) readings.. :-)

3. Quite a few of you have asked me about new build sessions. As final
cases and fans are potentially only a week away it makes sense to
schedule the next meetup to include these. I am penciling in Wed, Jan
30 from 5pm for the next session, and optimistically expecting that we
will have egg enclosures by then.
4. Some funding news -- approval for the eggs for schools project came
through late last week. The project starts with a teachers meetup on
February 21. Do you know any teachers who may be interested in an egg
workshop? If so look out for an expression on interest form we will
post here shortly!
In other news..
For anyone who hasn't already heard, there will be a Mini Maker Faire
being held in Bristol on March 23. This is a pretty big deal, if you
have any fun maker/hacker projects then this is a good opportunity to
showcase them..
