it@inwent's team "penguins" wishes you and your dear ones happy holidays and blessings for the new year. We would like to thank you very much for working with us in 2010.

Please note: As of next year, the penguins will be wearing different suits: InWEnt, GTZ and DED are pooling their long-standing expertise and will be merged into „Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH“.

For more information on the merger, see below. As concerns the suits, please let us know, which one you would like us to wear most often (see proposals on the picture) :-)

Whichever outfit: We are looking forward to further exchange and cooperation in 2011 and invite you to check some of this year's actions and upcoming initiatives at http://www.inwent.org/it-inwent/

Yours,

Balthas Seibold, Petra Hagemann, Ursula van Look, David Paulus (intern) (InWEnt Bonn) and George Nyambuya  (InWEnt SA / FOSSFA)

P.S.: If you are particularly interested in our work on “FOSS in Africa”, you are cordially invited to have a look at our latest newsletter of  the programme “ict@innovation - Creating Business and Learning Opportunities with Free and Open Source Software in Africa” at

From the beginning of January 2011 the company will operate under the name Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

All contact data you have, including addresses, telephone and fax numbers will remain unchanged. As of 1 January 2011 you will find more information on our website at http://www.giz.de .
