Dear fellow FOSS Advocates,

As part of continuing effort to promote and advocate the use Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), we need to target specific groups so we can broaden our advocacy.

It is in this light that we have established the foss-for-health.org [http://foss-for-health.org] website. We believe that sharing our knowledge and skills and learning from another is an effective way of promoting the use of FOSS.

We therefore invite all of you to join us by registering in foss-for-health.org and actively participating in sharing and at same time learning from one another. It doesn't matter if we only know a few FOSS applications in health. What is important is that by joining this community we also bring with us the FOSS community spirit and are ready to share FOSS applications e.g. Linux that can be useful in health even though it is not health specific.

Hope to meet you all at foss-for-health.org

Thank you.

ariel
