We would like to invite interested, committed and potential candidates
who want to acquire professional skills in using ICT/Technology
Supported Education/E-Learning specialized in "E-Learning Development
and Management" to apply for a blended course offered by InWEnt Germany
and University of the Philippines Open University.

After successfully participating in this course, you will have
conceptual, practical knowledge and competence on e-learning that can be
use to design all types of educational programs through the use of
e-learning.

Course registration deadline: 22/02/2010

Course Duration (March - November 2010):

   * 1st face-to-face workshop: 1 week duration, 22/03/2010 -
     26/03/2010 in Ulan-Bator, Mongolia.
   * Online phase: April - Nov 2010.
   * Final face-to-face workshop: 1 week duration, date and location to
     be further notified.

Course Content:

   * Module 1: Instructional Design (ID): How to plan the structure of
     a course? What are learning objectives? What are eLearning scenarios?
   * Module 2: Content Development (CD): How to identify and create
     learning resources? How to add value to the course? How to develop
     a storyboard?
   * Module 3: Interactivity (INT): What interactions could be
     integrated in eLearning? How to use the different interaction
     tools?What is feedback?
   * Module 4: eLearning Technology (eLT): What are the functions of
     eLearning technology? What are the technology standards? What is
     FOSS - the Free and Open Source Software for eLearning?
   * Module 5: eLearning Management (eLM): How to balance time, cost
     and quality of eLearning? How to plan and implement eLearning
     projects? How to assess eLearning projects/
   * Module 6: Tutoring for eLearning Communities (TEL): What are
     virtual communities? What are the skills of the tutors? How to use
     communication tools effectively?
