The Cool Cam for iPhone
Stunning unique filters created by professional photographers
The Cool Cam is an iPhone photo app created by the Brazilian photographers Marcia Ramalho and Milton Montenegro.
It features five stunning and unique filters that are far different from the everyday retro-tinted effects provided by most photo apps. Its main goal is to produce impressive and artistic images in few easy steps.
You can turn your photos into subtle grainy watercolors (Glam), refine their hues into magical warm tones (Luna) and achieve truly classic b&w with a twist of the original color (Remix). Onda and Kali reshape and distort picture elements into surprising results.
In addition to brightness, contrast and saturation controls, the app allows in-app instant sharing to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and e-mail.
There will be a promotional period when The Cool Cam will be free to download at the App Store, from May 1st to 15.
The app is being developed by Gaudium, a software company specialized in iOS and Android apps.
Marcia Ramalho is an advertising photographer and Cannes Lions awarded film director. Quality and detail oriented, she believes that all pixels must be perfectly harmonized for turning a photographic instant into a work of art. Irving Penn has always been an inspiration.
