Hi -
Just a quick update re: 56k access in Boston. I left 3
or 4 postings last August in this ng, asking for an idea
when IDT would offer the newer, higher speed standard
connection speeds. Noone from IDT gave me the courtesy of a
reply, so I looked around and found 110.net.

They offer numerous 56k dial-ups in and around the
Boston area for $8.50. The monthly rate is less if you
prepay for 6 months and even less than that, for 1 year.
We've all had mixed experiences with IDT's tech support.
Why pay long-distance charges only to be put on hold for 20
+ minutes, and then told by the techey that "the problem
isn't with IDT" ? And there are other, similar-priced
ISP's available.
