Hi all,
So, you're not connecting at 56K? Before you blame IDT, check if your
line is 56k capable. You can do this by dialing 1-847--262-6000. You
need a terminal application-HyperTerminal is one-and a modem installed
and connected to a phone line (of course). you need to be off the
internet to do this.
When you're prompted for your 1. name, just type in "line", 2. last
name, type in "test" After the test is done, you will then know whether
your
line is 56k capable. That is all to it.
