Problems with NYC POPs

What is wrong with 718 and 212 POPs? They are getting worse and worse.
I can't logon and if I do, the connection is useless. Can't access
smtp properly and problems with POP3 and news, too. Accessing web
sites is also difficult. Anybody else with similar problems in NYC
recently?
Other ISP connections work fine on same computer and phone line.

Similar problems in California, San Diego area. IDT does not recognize
them, has not responded. IDT--are you listening, or do you want us all
to go somewhere else? ARe you not concentrating on your ISP side of the
business?

Hoboken, Jersey City POP's seem pretty slowwwwwww Cant get E mail down,.
bits only trickle in... ???? Sometimes get a decent burst of data,,, but

i am in central nj and am experiencing the same thing. i am having people tell
me that their email is getting bounced and it takes forever to download email
when it gets through.

In past years, I enjoyed with NEWS (news.idt.net) and E-_MAILS
(pop3.idt.net - smtp.idt.net) until this 2000 year, I am very disappointed
with those servers refused and made too delay since long times. I sent
several requests to sup...@idt.net and answered slowly and their phones
were ringing several times. What wrong with them? where is the network
status that we could check? Hopefully these services will be resumed
speedly.
