I had problems browsing last week. I could connect but neither of my
browsers would work and could not get email. I talked with several
tech's over several days, including supervisors, and some said it was
routing problems in the okc area and then finally after several days one
tech said IDT had changed some things the following week and he changed
something in my computer and it worked.
I just purchased another computer and am having the same problem. I
talked with one tech and he said it was because AOL was on the new
computer. I told him I had the same problem with a computer without AOL
and he wouldn't listen. He just wanted me to delete AOL. I didn't..... I
may find a new ISP next week....

I find the IDT technical support to be the rudest individuals on the earth.
I have encountered many technical problems with the IDT internet services
before, including losing server connections, never-ending busy signals for
dial-up connections, and trouble in receiving e-mail attachment. Everytime
there is a problem, I knew nothing else but calling the Tech Support in NJ
for help, but their attitude was always the same. They insisted on
something that was not even an issue and repeatedly said to me that "You
don't understand." I always try every method they tell me to find the
solution, but it has hardly ever worked. I usually end up finding the
solution myself after many days of frustration. Some tech advisor one time
even started to yell at me because he said he doesn't really know my
computer and it's frustrating for him to talk to me. Is this really the
attitude the Tech Support people should have? I know they don't receive any
type of customer relations training, but their condescending attitude really
tells us the nature of this company.

I'm currently searching for a different internet company which I can trust
better. I can't wait to leave IDT.

It would appear that multiple Los Angeles numbers are either not working,
stalling, constantly busy etc. I called on numerous occassions and received
the run around. Then was told they were having problems, then given an 888
number that doesn't work because it's also busy all the time.

IDT SUCKS, but more than that, THEIR SERVICE AND CUSTOMER LOYALTY REALLY
SUCKS!!!! and I'll be canceling as soon as I can find a DSL company.
A VERY disgruntled soon to be ex customer.
